We enjoy working with the local animal rescue groups and we strongly encourage adopting pets from them. As a way of thanking you for supporting these groups Two By Two Animal Hospital provides a gift certificate for newly adopted pets

Meet Our Doctors

  • Holly Shaffer
    DVM
    Dr. Holly Shaffer is a graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2010 she purchased the former Hecht Veterinary Hospital and renamed it Two by Two Animal Hospital after the Biblical story of the animals coming to the ark to be saved.
  • Jessica Balsis
    DVM
    In May 2008, Dr. Jessica Balsis graduated from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She is very involved in the local horse community. She is passionate about equine medicine and lameness evaluations.
  • Kristin Spink
    DVM
    Dr. Kristin Spink graduated from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include wildlife rehabilitation and veterinary mission work. In private practice, she enjoys surgery and wound care.
  • Mike Lin
    DVM
    Dr. Mike Lin graduated from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He has a very diverse background in clinical practice and enjoys surgery and internal medicine. He joined the practice in 2016.
